“The Ten Year History of Super Dollfie: 2006”
In 2005, a new tiny brilliance and a warm blessedness visited the world of Super Dollfie.
What kind of wonderful events welcomed us in the year 2006?
This year's history begins with the 'SD Owners Appreciation Fair' held in Korea on January 22nd.
Our Korean SD Owners always welcomed us so warmly, in this near yet far neighboring country. Each time we held these events, we were able to experience how our overseas SD Owners truly and tenderly adored their Super Dollfie, in just the same way that was natural to our Japanese Owners. There were such a great number of people who completely understood the distinctive concept that Super Dollfie have, and we received such great happiness from those SD Owners.
On March 18th, we held the 'Tenshi-no-Sato 2nd Anniversary Commemorative Fair', to commemorate the two years that had passed since the opening of Tenshi-no-Sato.
The SD that debuted were Yo-Tenshi 'Kasumi' and Kyo-Tenshi 'Kikyou'. These two angels, sharing traits of both sweetness and divinity, alighted in the waiting arms of their Owners.
On that very same evening, to commemorate both the 2nd Anniversary of Tenshi-no-Sato and the holding of 'Home Town Kyoto Dolpa 4', we held a 'Kyoto Dolpa 4 Dolls Party Eve in Tenshi-no-Sato' event. Due to the space limitations we couldn't let everyone who wanted to attend actually attend, but it was an opportunity to share our feelings of gratitude with SD Owners as much as we possibly could.
As this event was a limited event for VS and VIP members only, there were of course many of our regular customers, and many fellow owners who had become friends as well.
As the event proceeded with such a congenial and relaxed atmosphere, there were many owners who felt no hesitance in starting up conversations even with the Volks staff, and in that moment we came to a strong realization: Super Dollfie were also a catalyst for people to get to know each other.
And at the event, those owners who wished to were able to welcome home Yo-Tenshi 'Yuki', and while away a truly magnificent evening.
On March 19th, the next day, we held 'Home Town Kyoto Dolpa 4'.
At this time a new tale began, that of 'Harajuku Memories'. It was the entrance of SD13 Boy 'Tony', the older brother of MSD 'Hewitt'. And for the MSD, the level-headed girl 'Midori in PreSchool' and the somewhat spoiled boy 'Manabu in PreSchool' made their debut.
On May 5th, we held our long-awaited main Dolpa, 'Dolls Party 15'.
For the SD13 Boys, 'Black Cat Lucas' and 'White Cat Chris' made their appearance, sporting a fresh, new charm that was entirely different to the image they'd maintained up until now. Despite the fact that they were going out for their 4th release, their unfailing popularity exceeded even our expectations by a long shot.

For the SD, it was the mysterious girl 'Carol', and for the SD Cute, Girl 'Ren' and Boy 'Miko', our messengers from Tenshi-no-Sato, made their debut.
On the 2nd of June, our photobook entitled 'Another Yourself' - that could also be called a Super Dollfie compilation - was published. Even the preceding announcement of its release had caused an overwhelming response.
It was a truly wonderful book, beautifully bound in pure white - a photo collection completely devoted to imparting all of the magnificence of the Super Dollfie world and leaving nothing to spare. 'Another Yourself' also allowed Owners to welcome home SD13 Boy 'Shiro in After School Version' and SD Girl 'Liz Spring Stroll Version' as special Book Limited SD; so you could say that 'Another Yourself' carried a true wealth of blessings.
